The premises of Bassilisa, Tema Community 6 Branch came to a standstill Sunday afternoon when Organizers and Volunteers of Black Art Street Festival (Tema Art & fashion festival) thronged there for the online launch of the official poster of the 4th edition of the festival.
The festival initiated in 2014 has become an annual art festival that draws people from all walks of life to the industrial port city.
Speaking briefly to the media after the launch, Team Lead at Initials & Signatures Ltd and Festival Director, Mr. Bernard Brown said this year’s festival provides a converging point for thousands of free-minds, artists, potential and active entrepreneurs, tech-addicts, bloggers, musicians and music lovers, environmental conservationists, fashion addicts and entrepreneurs, lifestyle and cultural enthusiasts and other creative minds to generate series of contagious energy to promote art, tourism, entrepreneurship and the environment.
“We at Initials & Signatures Ltd are super excited about this year’s festival because it promises to be a huge improvement on previous ones. More so because of the theme we are working with this year. Black Creativity is a call to action. It is a call to project the relevance of art to national development. It is a call to use creativity to address societal challenges such as wastes. We are calling on all creative minds and lovers of art, fashion, music and more to join us in December here in Tema as we practically live Unlimited Creativity. We are also calling on vendors, institutions and other business entities to take opportunity of the festival to promote their businesses, create new customers and make some good sales”.
BASFEST comes off from Friday December 1 through to 3 at Tema Community 4. You can follow BASFEST on social media @basfestgh or visit the www.basfest.com for more information.
