Black Art Street Festival

THE BASFEST

BLACK ART STREET FESTIVAL

This year BASFest provides a converging point for thousands of free-minds, raw and fine talented artists, potential and active entrepreneurs, tech-addicts, bloggers, musicians and music lovers, environmental conservationists, fashion addicts and entrepreneurs, lifestyle and cultural enthusiasts and other creative minds to generate series of energy to promote art, entrepreneurship and the environment.

Our theme this year is Black Creativity focusing on the relevance and impact of creative processes on national development and how creative minds can address societal challenges with greater focus on environmental cleanliness through recycling.

THE 2017 EDITION

BLACK ART STREET FESTIVAL 2017

Waste has become huge challenge for our nation today. Government continues to spend thousands of dollars on dealing on the effects of wastes such as cholera, malaria and other waste-related diseases. Gutters are being chocked and floods have become the norm anytime it rains. The beauty of our environment is badly marred by wastes. It is time creative minds begin to propose creative solutions to problems such as this hence this year’s theme.

In the spirit of Ghana’s 60 years of independence, BASFest 2017 also offers unique opportunity for festival patrons to experience Ghana’s rich diverse culture. This year’s festival promises to send celebrants on a memorable journey of art, culture, music, history and everything Ghanaian and African.
